          | A Lot has Happened...
 Hi Everyone
Yes a lot has happened since the last time I updated you.  I've played a few tournaments, an Aussie won the Masters!!....and lots of other stuff in, around and between.

Let's start with my golf....overall I have been pretty pleased with the way I have played in the last 3 or 4 tournaments. I've been in contention a couple of times, which felt good but I just haven't been able to finish it off. I've often had 3 of 4 good rounds, or even 63 of 72 holes that I've been pleased with but just have that average round or a poor few holes that keep me out of the winners circle. I'm feeling quite positive about things and am looking forward to playing at the Kingsmill Resort this week! I have played well here in the past, having won back in 2006. This course is one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to getting out there.

We've had so much travel already this year.  I'm glad to be on the east coast of the US for a little while so the longest flight that I would be looking at is 3 hours.  After some of these 20-30 something travel days, a short flight up the east coast certainly works for me!

In between all the tournaments and traveling, I did manage to go with some friends in Boston to see Pink in concert. What an amazing show she puts on!! I had been trying to see Pink in concert for a few years now and after not being home in Florida when she was touring there, I made the effort to go up to Boston to catch up with some friends and go to her show. She totally didn't let me down!! Just love her!!

Apart from that, there hasn't been to many more fun activities on the agenda. I just haven't been home long enough to go out on the boat. I'm only away for this week, so I am hoping for some great weather when I'm back in Florida next week so I can get out fishing or diving or something.  It's just got to happen!

The exciting thing that happened in the month of April, is that Adam Scott won the Masters!!! The first Aussie to do so...finally!!!  I've been watching the Masters since I was a little kid and have watched many great Aussies leave Augusta National heart broken. I remember watching Greg Norman of TV in '86 and '87 have heart wrenching losses and then I was at Augusta in '96 when Greg again finished 2nd. I have cried many times watching the Masters, but I had a couple of tears of joy for Adam after his thrilling win a few weeks ago. The monkey is off his back as well as all the Aussies at the Masters for years to come!  I think there is going to be a lot more Australian flag waving at the Masters for sure now!

Well that's about it for now. The next time I blog, I hope to have some good news about my golf but some even better news and pics of the fish I caught!!!

 Karrie
