Well it's US Open week and I just wanted to update you on how my week is going so far.

It has been unbelievably hot here at Oakmont during our practice round days!  It's been hard to try and really get to know the course without using up to much energy that will be needed for the end of the week. The course is awesome!  It's totally going to be a brutal test this week but the course is set up very fair and will reward someone who can control their emotions and plot their way around the course.

My prep has gone pretty well and I'm ready to go!  I'm looking forward to the challenge and hope I can put myself in with a shot on Sunday.

On another note, I have the two winners of the Karrie Webb Series staying with me this week.  The girls, Stacey Keating and Jessica Speechley arrived on Monday and have been out watching practice rounds.  They will be here through the week so hopefully I will give them something to cheer for.  It's been really fun having them here again this year!  I think I get as much out of the week as the girls do.

Ok, well the course is there, I just have to back myself for 4 rounds and see where that puts me at the end of the week!
