G'Day Everyone,

Well it's here...the start of my 2011 season! I've had a great and restful off season and I'm ready to get back at it!

I'm currently home in Australia and play my first tournament of the year in Melbourne at the Australian Open. It's the start of quite a hectic stretch for me. I'm playing 4 tournaments in a row with this week, followed by the ANZ Masters on the Gold Coast, then 'off to start my LPGA season I'm Thailand and Singapore.  So a big start but I'm looking forward to putting the practice I've done over the past month or so into action and finally add up the scores.  I'm glad that my season is starting in Australia.  I love playing at home, although my 2 weeks are a little more hectic than usual, I have my family and friends around me as well as the home crowd support. It's a nice way to start the year!

I think my game is in pretty good shape, so with a bit of fine tuning hopefully I will shake the rust off pretty quickly this week.

As for this past week, I was back home in North Queensland doing a bit of practice and spending time with my family. Wednesday was Australia Day, which saw an excellent backyard cricket match, a bbq and a few beers at my sister and brother-in-law's house. There were quite a few people there, and even though it was an extremely hot day, everyone had a great time. It's been awhile since I've experienced a true Aussie day celebration!!

Ok...well that's the update for now. I look forward to hopefully blogging about my great start to the year!
