Two tourney road tripHi Everyone
I am currently back home in Florida at the beginning of another two weeks off. I decided not to play the first two events in Asia mainly because I didn't want to (or can't physically) play 6 in a row. I did that in my rookie year and haven't done it since. So I will be enjoying time at home until I head off to Japan in 10 days or so.
The past two weeks went reasonably well. I would have to say it has been a marked improvement from the July/August stretch but of course I know that I can always get a bit more out of myself. Both weeks I swung the club pretty well and my putting was ok. My putting was good in stretches and then quite cold in others. I'm just not scoring as well as I feel I am playing. Its just a matter of making a key putt here and there, getting up and down here and there and maybe not noticing the bad breaks as much. In other words, if I could continue good momentum throughout my rounds, I might get more out of them. I am continually having one bad swing cost me and then not getting right back on track. How do you fix this? There's not really much you can do about it. I need to continue working on the things I have been...and then just being patient and not try to force things. Which the patience and forcing things have not been my forte lately. Its getting late in the year and I am quick to lose my patience. Not a good thing but it happens. My goal for my next two events is to try to curb the loses in concentration and patience....hopefully that will help me get closer to the finish line.
As for the next couple weeks, I don't have too much planned. I am going to the Miami Dolphins home game this Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They had a great win on the road last weekend to beat the Packers. I am hoping that they can finally notch up a home win for the season on Sunday. Its finally not a prime time home game, so hopefully without all the spotlight they will play more like the road team they've been.
That's about all I have the is set in stone. I am sure I will get out on my boat at some stage. The weather down here has finally started to cool down. The humidity is way less which is good. Only a couple more weeks to go and we will be out of Hurricane season!! Yay!
Ok, I will check in with you again soon.
Take care
Karrie
