Hi All

Well first things first....and the most important thing.....The big match between the Queensland Maroons and the New South Wales Blues/cockroaches went according to plan and really made my week! The Mighty Maroons won 24-14 and clinched the best of 3 series in the first two games. This is the fourth year in a row that they have won the series, making it the first time ever that one team has won four in a row!! The big thing to come from their win is that I cleaned up in my bets with all the New South Welshman on tour!!!  On top of winning a number of dinners and a little cash, I had a great day rubbing it in to everyone with whom I had bet!

As for my week on the course, I had a complete flip in my game. I didn't hit it very well at all but managed to have one of my best short game weeks of the year....especially with my putting.  I felt very good about how things went on the greens which was the positive I took out of the week. After having the day off on Monday, I practiced today and think I have worked out somethings in my swing. So a hard week of work will put my game in pretty good shape by the time I tee it up for the US Open.

Other than hard work this week I'm not sure if I am going to do much else. I did managed to go to the movies last night and saw "The Hangover". I thought it was hilarious!! I really love movies that make me laugh. I guess I really like that silly humor in movies such as "Ace Ventura" and "Austin Powers". This movie isn't really that sort of humor but it is funny still the same. I haven't laughed that much in a movie for awhile.
